  • Picis uses a Microsoft NT based SQL Server database. Picis has products for the Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine, the Operating Room, and Intensive Care Units. Picis offers CareSuite 97™, which includes Chart+™ (an automated anesthetic record keeper), Visual Care™ (automating caregiver work), IntelliNotes™ (a text information management tool), and HospiAudit™ (a managed care decision support tool, outcomes, and quality improvement solution).
  • CareFX provides hospital-wide data integration services. Follows on from EmTek.
  • CompuRecord from Philips uses a Microsoft NT or DEC Alpha (Unix) platform. The back-end database is an enterprise relational database manager, such as SQL Server or Oracle.
  • Dräger Medical's Recall AIMS, Innovian and Infinity information systems.
  • GE Medical has the Centricity perioperative information management system but their website is won't help you much.
